DR IRUNGU MACHARIA
Lead Consultant
CPA Dr. Irungu Macharia influences Corporate Strategy, Research, Human Resource Management, Finance, Projects and Programs Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Change Management in organizations. He has a wealth of experience in excess of 20 years’ spanning over the private and public sectors at senior management levels. He currently serves as the lead consultant in the company. Before this he served in banking industry as the Head of Regional Expansion Strategy and Projects covering East African countries. Over the years he has also provided top notch advisory services to C-level executives and Boards turning around corporates.
He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration Finance – JKUAT, M.A Economics – UoN, MBA Finance – Kenyatta University, BeD Arts – UoN, CPAK, CPSK, PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner- PRINCE2®, CISA® and currently pursuing CHRP. He is also a Certified Corporate Governance Expert by Center for Corporate Governance.
His strong credentials backs him as a strategical thinker with impeccable leadership in offering solutions to organizations. His membership include ICPAK, ICPSK, APMG, CHRP, ISACA, KIM, Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) and Institute of Directors Kenya (I.oD). Dr Irungu has lectured at JKUAT (Finance courses), Kenya School of Revenue Authority (Tax Research Seminar), KCA University (Banking, Economics and Finance Units), PAC University (leadership and change management) and Management University of Africa as an exam moderator. He has also supervised thesis and published widely in referred journals. He chairs the Boards of Kiaguthu Boys, Mwihoko Secondary and sits as a BoM Member in Kaganda Secondary which has resulted to excellence in KCSE results, improved discipline and infrastructural development.
He is also the founding chairman of Tumaini Sacco, a church affiliated Sacco providing financial empowerment to its members. In church, Dr Irungu serves in Lay Reader ministry under the Diocese of Nairobi to support the Parish Vicar in attending to spiritual matters. He has been a star performer, resilient, team player and a good team coach. His hobbies are reading, youth mentorship and swimming.
MBINYA MUTISO
Senior Consultant
As a Senior Consultant, Mbinya Mutiso, has in-depth experience working with Co-operative Bank Consultancy Services and the Sacco Banking Division for over 8 years. She holds a Masters’ Degree in Rural Sociology and Community development and has attended various courses in Rural Agriculture Financing, Savings Group project Design and implementation, Eco inclusive Entrepreneurship and BDS, Project Management, Strategic Planning, Market Research, Product Development, and Customer Service conducted several research works for various clients. She is specialized in working with players in financial inclusion and linkage banking who work primarily with low income rural communities
HANNAH WANJIKU NDEGWA
HR & Legal Consultant
An accomplished Human Resources and Legal Professional with over 20 years of progressive leadership in HR management, consultancy, and legal advisory across public, private, and multinational organizations in Kenya and the East African region. Hannah holds an Executive MBA in Human Resource Management (Moi University), Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) from the University of Nairobi, and a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. She is a full member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM), Membership No. 03584. Her career demonstrates extensive hands-on experience in strategic recruitment, talent acquisition, employee relations, labour law compliance, performance management, organizational development, and HR strategy alignment.
She is particularly adept at handling high-level HR transformation projects, change management, and legal compliance, making her a well-rounded advisor on people, policy, and performance. JACKSON MUTUA
Finance, Strategy and Accounting Consultant
A highly accomplished Finance, strategy and Accounting professional with over 15 years of progressive experience in academia, corporate finance, and strategic consultancy across East Africa. Currently a Lecturer in the Faculty of Business and Economics at Multimedia University of Kenya and Finance Director at Kloss Limited. Previously served as Head of Department, Finance & Accounting (2019–2021) at the same university, where he provided academic leadership, spearheaded curriculum reviews, and oversaw departmental strategy. Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) and a PhD candidate in Business Administration (Finance) at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, with demonstrated expertise in financial management, financial reporting, taxation and public finance, internal controls, strategic planning, and public financial governance.
A member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Kenya , committed to promoting ethical financial oversight and audit quality. Actively involved in recruitment, evaluation, and technical assessments for key public sector offices, including supporting interview and aptitude testing processes for the Office of the Controller of Budget.
Has served as a consultant and trainer for national and international bodies including KNEC, KASNEB, ACDI/VOCA and the Agri-Business Training & Consultancy Center. Provided technical training to SMEs and multinational clients across Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Tanzania on topics including performance management, business leadership, finance, and governance.
